Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis Eka Prasetya (MBEP) establishes authorship criteria to ensure that every author listed in a scientific article has made a meaningful contribution to the research and manuscript preparation. Authorship must be determined fairly, transparently, and responsibly in accordance with the principles of academic integrity and publication ethics.
1. Author Criteria
An individual may be listed as an author in an article published in Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis Eka Prasetya (MBEP) if they meet the following criteria:

2. Author Order and Designation
The order of authors must be determined by mutual agreement among all authors, taking into account their respective contributions to the research and manuscript preparation.
The first author is generally the individual who makes the primary contribution to conducting the research and preparing the manuscript. The corresponding author is responsible for communicating with the journal editors, submitting the manuscript, managing the revision process, and coordinating with all co-authors throughout the publication process.
3. Author Responsibilities
Each author is responsible for:
1. Ensuring that the article is original and does not contain plagiarism.
2. Presenting data, research methods, and findings accurately and refraining from data fabrication or falsification.
3. Disclosing funding sources, potential conflicts of interest, and other information relevant to the research.
4. Ensuring that all sources used are appropriately cited and included in the reference list.
5. Ensuring that all authors have approved the final manuscript submitted for publication.
6. Cooperating with the journal in responding to questions, requests for clarification, or allegations of ethical misconduct concerning submitted or published articles.
4. Contributors Who Do Not Meet the Authorship Criteria
Individuals who provide only administrative assistance, financial support, research facilities, routine data collection, or technical assistance without making a qualifying intellectual contribution are not automatically entitled to authorship.
Their contributions may be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section, with the consent of the individuals concerned where necessary.
5. Changes in Authorship
Any changes involving the addition or removal of authors or a change in author order after manuscript submission must be supported by clear reasons and the written consent of all authors involved.
