Burnout has increasingly become a critical issues among Generation Z employees working in the Indonesian private sector, where rapid technological advancement and envolving job demands intensify psychological stress. This study examines the influence of three burnout dimensions-emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment-on employee performance. A quantitative survey methodology was applied, with data collected from Gen-Z employees and analyzed using SPSS for validity and reliability testing, while SmartPLS with the PLS-SEM approach was employed to assess the structural model and evaluate the proposed hypotheses. The analysis confirms that emotional exhaustion negatively affects employee performance, indicating that a decline in emotional energy tends to reduce productivity and work engagement. Depersonalization also has a detrimental effect, leading to emotional detachment and diminished commitment to organizational goals. Conversely, personal accomplishment shows a positive, significant contribution to performance, indicating that employees who perceive higher levels of achievement are more motivated and capable of delivering better results. These findings highlight the urgency for organizations to strengthen mental health support, improve recognition systems, and implement adaptive human resource strategies to maintain optimal performance among the emerging Gen-Z workforce.
