Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of work facilities and employee salaries on employee performance at the South Tangerang City Fire Department, both partially and simultaneously. This study employed a quantitative research method with a descriptive quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample of 67 respondents from a total population of 203 employees. Data were analyzed using validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that work facilities had a positive and significant effect on employee performance partially. The simple linear regression equation was Y = 25.733 + 0.728X?, with a correlation coefficient of 0.543, indicating a moderately strong relationship between the two variables. The coefficient of determination was 0.295 (29.5%), meaning that work facilities contributed 29.5% to employee performance, while the remaining 70.5% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The hypothesis testing showed that tcount > ttable (5.211 > 1.669), indicating that H?? was rejected and H?? was accepted. The results also indicated that employee salaries had a positive and significant effect on employee performance partially. The simple linear regression equation was Y = 17.223 + 0.627X?, with a correlation coefficient of 0.781, indicating a strong relationship between the two variables. The coefficient of determination was 0.609 (60.9%), meaning that employee salaries contributed 60.9% to employee performance, while the remaining 39.1% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The hypothesis testing showed that tcount > ttable (10.069 > 1.669), indicating that H?? was rejected and H?? was accepted. Furthermore, the results revealed that work facilities and employee salaries simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The multiple linear regression equation was Y = 7.312 + 0.492X? + 0.552X?. The correlation coefficient was 0.857, indicating a very strong relationship between the independent variables and employee performance. The coefficient of determination was 0.735 (73.5%), indicating that work facilities and employee salaries jointly explained 73.5% of the variance in employee performance, while the remaining 26.5% was influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study. Hypothesis testing showed that Fcount > Ftable (88.826 > 3.14). Therefore, it can be concluded that work facilities and employee salaries have a positive and significant effect on employee performance at the South Tangerang
